General Description: This auction will consist of items from two estates from the Topeka area and a number of general consignors. If you or someone you know is looking for some really nice bedroom furniture you won’t want to miss this upcoming auction. Items will include quality bedroom furniture including a 4-poster bed, armoire, dressers, side tables, and (3) king size mattress sets. Other items include (2) 36-volt electric golf carts, side-by-side refrigerator, grandfather clocks, and lots of hand and power tools. Appliances: Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator, an older Whirlpool heavy duty washer and electric dryer, trash compactor by Kenmore, and assorted household and kitchen appliances. Antiques & Collectibles: Another 25 Precious Moment figurines, antique buffet, autographed Mickey Mantle and George Brett cards, 1948 LG-2 Gibson "X" braced acoustic guitar, collector plates, 3-light pole lamp (from the 60’s or early 70’s), (3) antique oak office chairs – one has a brown leather padded seat and the other two are finished wood, high-back maple rocker, oak rocker with black leather padded seat and back, (2) Lane cedar chests – both have storage shelf, Mission style oak chair with padded seat, set of Rosenthal China from Germany, smaller wood stove marked made in West Germany, antique picture frame, ashtray and Stand, small stool, antique buffet, large oak desk, (4) pieces of Fostoria Ruby Coin Glass, and more coming. Coins & Currency Auction: Our next monthly Coin and Currency Auction will be Friday, January 13th. The deadline to consign items to the January Coin and Currency Auction is Tuesday, January 3rd at noon. Hog: Last summer I purchase a hog at the Overbrook Fair Livestock Auction. The hog was processed at Santa Fe Meats in Overbrook, and they have been kind enough to have kept the hog in their freeze for me since they finished processing the meat. Well as most good things come to an end, so the storage of the hog come to an end. The hog was processed into hams, beacon, sausage, pork chops, and I am not sure what else, however, it all will all be sold at this auction and I will donate the proceeds of the sale of the meat to the 2012 Osage County Relay For Life, a benefit for the American Cancer Society, that will be held sometime this coming September.
